CYGNET Preparatory was a hive of activity with its Dads and Kids Box-Car day.
Following the special celebration of moms, this event was an opportunity to celebrate the significant male figures in the learners’ lives.
Each learner and their ‘partner’ was given a ‘kit’ to assemble a box car resplendent with racing stripes, rear-view mirrors and personalised licence plates.
The added bonus was that the moms were given the day off, aside from the school’s hard-working parent association moms.
The afternoon culminated with ‘driving’ the box cars to the outdoor drive-in in the school grounds to enjoy a movie, with the great company of dads, popcorn and soda.
