WINSTON Park Primary School congratulated Kirsten Cottrell, a Grade 6 learner, who swam in the KZN Premier Championship gala during December 2017.
She competed in six individual events for girls U11.
She won gold medals for the 200m backstroke and 50m freestyle, a silver for 50m backstroke and bronze for the 100m backstroke.
Kirsten made the finals for the 100m freestyle and 200m.
“Well done, Kirsten, Winston Park Primary School is extremely proud of you,” said Gina Layzell, business manager at the school.
