Hike Summerveld Shongweni Circuit on Saturday, 23 June. Trail along ‘horse country roads’ and through grassland. Drinks afterwards at Lodge. Meet and park at 1.45pm at Summerveld Lodge (M13 exit 33, left and first right into Cliffdale, left into Hawkstone, right into Summerhill Rd). Grade 2 easy; ±8km, contact Jon on 082 459 1522.
Hike Mzinyathi Falls (Inanda) on Sunday, 24 June. A Durban Green Corridor initiative. An interesting walk through lower Inanda to the Falls, down into the Gorge and a circular route back, R40 for the guide. Grade 2 moderate, Vertigo warning; ±12km. Contact Philip on 082 417 0204.
