VIDEO: Two units damaged in Westmead fire

Two units were damaged and no one was injured.

PEOPLE were evacuated from a Westmead building after a fire broke out earlier today.

According to Rescue Care Paramedics, two units in the building were damaged and no injuries were reported.

“The fire is out, paramedics and firefighters were on scene, no injuries were reported,” said Garrith Jamieson.

Andreas Mathios said it was unclear at this stage what caused the fire in the business premises.

“People were evacuated from the building and investigations will be conducted to determine the cause of the fire,” he said.
