Sharing their fortune with homeless

St Benedict School united to share in their good fortune by making sandwiches for the homeless people of Durban.

ST Benedict School celebrated its Founder’s Feast Day with a special mass on Friday which was presided over by Cardinal Napier.

The mass was followed by tea for staff and special guests in the chapel garden. The whole school then united to share in their good fortune by making sandwiches for the homeless people of Durban.

High school learners partnered with learners in the primary school to make the sandwiches.

The bread for the sandwiches was donated by BB Bread and the sandwiches were given to the Denis Hurley Centre in Durban for distribution.
