Donation threads hope at HACT
The empowerment project of the Hillcrest AIDS Centre Trust, Woza Moya, recently received a box filled with bright cotton for a local Women's Institute.
THE Pinelands Pinetown Women’s Institute recently donated a box of beautiful cotton to the Woza Moya’s haberdashery shop based at the Hillcrest AIDS Centre Trust (HACT).
The cotton was donated by Coates and is available in the shop.
This is just one of the many charitable organisations that the Women’s Institute supports.

The Pinelands Pinetown Women’s Institute meets at the Pinetown Presbyterian Church, Maurice Nicholls Road on the first Thursday of the month at 9.30am. Entry is R10 for visitors, this includes a talk and a delicious plate of eats and tea. The group’s members enjoy sharing their knowledge on knitting, crocheting, crafts and more.
“As an institute, we collect a variety of items for various charities and most of these are handed to the Robin Hood Foundation for distribution,” said Bev.
