Lights, camera, action for talented Siba

Sibaphiwe Khanyile has been named Thomas More College High School's SPAR Star of the Month.

THOMAS More College High School’s talented actor and sportsman, Sibaphiwe Khanyile, has been named the school’s SPAR Star of the Month.

Sibaphiwe possesses a love for drama and is considering entering the acting industry after he matriculates.

Siba recently represented the school in the lead role of Othello in the Shakespeare Schools’ Festival at the Playhouse.

On the sporting front, he excels on the soccer and rugby field where he has achieved full colours for both.

Siba was a member of the 1st team rugby and he captained the 1st team soccer and the KZN U19 soccer teams. While pursuing his acting career after school he will continue playing soccer.

Siba has been appointed as the deputy head boy for 2019.

“As deputy head boy at Thomas More College, I want to inspire people to follow me because they want to, not because they have to. I believe that we all have opportunities to lead in life and realise our potential; I believe these opportunities are given by God,” said an ambitious Siba.
