Kaelin has not only achieved success at school with her swimming, but competed on a national level and has also been selected to compete on an international level.

“Swimming is special to me because it gives me a sense of feeling sane. Not only does it keep me healthy, but it has given me a competitive nature to prosper in today’s world,” she said. Kaelin trains twice a day and finds it a challenge to balance her training with her academic life. She is grateful to her school for exposing her to a high standard of both academic and sporting opportunities.
Though this achiever says she often doubts her own abilities, her advice to others is to “never doubt your abilities, know what is good for self-growth, learn to say no and trust your own route to success.”
“We have no doubt that this determined and talented young lady will charter her own unique path to success. Well done Kaelin!” said Nicky Kidgell from Hillcrest High School.
