Speaking about the initiative and the complete prize, worth about R50 000, Beverly Munien of BevM Development Organisation said, “Highfield House Weddings and Function will sponsor the venue, décor and catering for 50 guests. Some of the other items that will be included in the prize are the wedding cake, photography, bridal attire, hair and make-up and transportation. The couple needs to be two people who cannot afford a wedding because of financial restraints and obstacles that have made it impossible for them to have a wedding or maybe someone who is terminally ill and its their wish to get married soon. There are no fees at all that would need to be paid by the couple.”
To submit an entry, the couple would need to email a motivational letter, to bevmdo@ gmail.com
Family and friends can also nominate a deserving couple by sending an email on their behalf.
The competition ends on 30 June 2019 and the winner will be announced on 7 July 2019.
