THE Mariannhill Landfill site will as of February 2020 be terminating some of its operations and will only be accepting garden refuse, cover material and builders rubble.

According to eThekwini Municipality spokesperson, Msawakhe Mayisela, all commercial customers are advised to dispose of waste at the Buffelsdraai and Lovu landfill sites, strictly on account.

“Customers need to consider the landfill changes and the implication to their business operations and related charges,” said Mayisela.
