Upper Highway ladies end year on a high note
The morning was a huge success and the generous sponsors of give-away gifts made it possible for the ladies to raise much needed funds for their chosen charity.
UPPER Highway Ladies Networking group celebrated their year end function this past Tuesday at Makaranga Garden Lodge.
The networking group, run by Teagan Sandstrom from Ithemba Recruitment, has been going for two years now.

Ladies in the highway area get together on the first Tuesday of every month to support each other in business and network.
The morning was well supported boasting a whopping 70 women.
The guest speakers included Ashley Knight, Emma Jacobs and Savanah Dougans. All three speakers were insightful and engaging, Emma Jacobs touched on the difficulties in business and the many hardships that one must endure to survive and thrive towards a successful business.
Ashley Knight conducted a mini workshop with the ladies to establish which areas need the most work when setting goals for 2020 while Savanah shared excellent tips on using social media with easy hints and tips for the ladies to use in the coming year to maximise brand awareness.
Sandstrom said the morning was a huge success. “Many laughs were shared around the room and the ladies took away some excellent advice for future business use. Our generous sponsors of give-away gifts made it possible for us to raise much needed funds for our chosen charity, Thuso Thuso crechè,” she said.
