Motala Heights road fully repaired
After years of waiting, Motala Road in Motala Heights was repaired and received a fresh layer of tar.
RESIDENTS of Motala heights were ecstatic when their only entry and exit point to the area was repaired and retarred recently.
The DA PR ward cpouncillor, Marlaine Nair, said, “Since being deployeed to the area, I have been fighting on behalf of the residents to have this road sorted out. For years it had been impossible to repair the road as there was an underground leak.”
Nair has now written to officials and requested for road markings to be completed.

“Even though I am happy with the completed road, I think that residents of Motala Heights need a second access road to the area. Motala Road is the only road that serves as both entrance and exit, which could be disastorous in an emergency, should this road be flooded or damaged,” said Nair.
