Pinetown Girls’ celebrate top marks
The Class of 2019 achieved a 98 per cent pass rate.
PINETOWN Girls’ High School is extremely proud of its Class of 2019 who achieved a 98 per cent pass rate. Thandeka Mvunelo was the top learner with six distinctions, followed by Sive Booi with five distinctions. Bianca Seagreen has been awarded a bursary to study at Varsity College.

PGHS principal, Sibongile Njapha congratulated the girls and challenged the Class of 2020 to equal, if not surpass, these excellent results.
“The school has done well again and we thank the highly dedicated staff, a supportive school governing body, Department of Education, parents who prioritise education and appreciate the high standards. We also send our appreciation to other stakeholders who offer their various services to the school.”
Njapha said the sky is the limit and wished learners all the best as they go into the world and showcase their full potential.
