Rhumebelow Theatre keeps the show afloat with live streams
Support The Rhumbelow Theatre initiative to keep it afloat and help help the relevant performers keep bread-and-butter on the table.
THE Rhumbelow Theatre has, through its streaming shows, managed to keep its head above water.
“The Rhumbelow Theatre would like to thank all peeps who have supported the Rhumbelow Theatre LOSS Series,” said Roland Stansell.
“We have, through this process, raised enough funds to maintain the theatre overheads for April 2020 and to support some of our performers.

“The challenge will be to maintain this momentum for the next six months or so,” he said.
“The funds raised have been over multiple shows and while the theatre has met its monthly costs, we still have a huge shortfall in being able to adequately support many of our performers.”
Standell has asked everyone to please spread the word to keep theatre alive in the province.
“We have loaded over 100 shows that have been previously recorded.”
To access the Rhumbelow LOSS Series (lockdown online streaming shows), email the theatre for a list of available shows and then tell them how many are watching with a minimum donation of R100 per head, and you will be sent the link to the show.
“Please support this initiative to keep the Rhumbelow afloat and it will help help the relevant performers keep bread-and-butter on the table,” Stansell said.
