Garrith Jamieson, spokesperson for Rescue Care, reported from the scene in a voice note just before 3.30pm.
Jamieson said paramedics had been called to the scene soon after 2.30pm and arrived to find a taxi and a bakkie had collided in a T-bone format.
14 Injured
A total of 14 people have sustained various injuries and were stabalised on the scene before being transported to hospitals for the further care they require,” said Jamieson adding that the number of injured required many ambulances and other services had also assisted at the scene.
