A 48-YEAR-OLD man handed himself over to Pinetown police on Saturday, 18 July following the murder of a 46-year-old victim in Wyebank on the same day.

Pinetown SAPS communications officer, Capt Bongumusa Manqele said it is alleged that the two had an argument and the suspect pulled out his licensed firearm and shot the victim three times.

“The victim was transported to a clinic where he was declared dead on arrival. The firearm used in the commission of murder was seized by police,” said Manqele.

The arrested suspect will appear in the Pinetown Magistrate’s Court today, 20 June 2020.
