The funeral of the Zulu king is a once in a lifetime event for most South Africans, but Covid-19 regulations have forced the arrangements to be altered somewhat.
ESKOM announced last night that the stage 2 loadshedding the county was experiencing this week would be suspended to allow the nation to participate in the memorial service of Zulu King Goodwill Zwelithini.

In an effort to manage the country’s energy shortage Eskom last week once again started implementing loadshedding.
South Africans have adapted many of their culturally significant rituals.
