WATCH: King of Customs finalist makes magic at his Malvern home

Malvern customising fanatic, Vinod Lalla's favourite projects which made him the perfect contender to the crown of the King of Custom's TV show.

MALVERN petrolhead, Vinod Lalla’s passion for vehicle customisations has earned him a spot on King of Customs, a reality TV Magazine show which goes in search of the best vehicle customisers in South Africa.

Lalla was one of the most popular finalists in the show which soon reaches the broadcast of its final show when the national winner will be crowned.

Speaking about some of the issues experienced, Kuluma TV spokesperson, Chantelle Palm said the show faced numerous production challenges relating to South Africa’s hard lockdown less than a week after the first show was aired.  

“As soon as production was allowed, the team pulled through and managed to get their first season in the can and on the air,” said Kuluma TV spokesperson, Chantelle Palm.

“Viewers are encouraged to watch, like and share the videos from their favourite customisers through the King of Customs Facebook page,” added Palm, explaining that the reactions, including views, shares and likes, tallied over the first 30 days count towards a final score to determine the titular King of Customs.

One of its presenters is also a Queensburgh local, Gareth Charles who features in the video interview of Lalla.

The show is broadcast on Ignition TV (DStv Channel 189) and simulcast for free on Facebook at www.facebook.com/KingofCustomsSA.

The season 1 finale episode airs this Saturday, 20 March at 10am in is repeated until Friday, 26 March. Check out the channel’s Facebook video ahead of Saturday’s show.
