Man dies in Cliffdale industrial explosion
The man was inside a tanker when the explosion occurred.
A 40-year-old man died in an industrial explosion at a cleaning service in Cliffdale, just outside Hillcrest on Saturday.
It is alleged the small explosion occurred while the man was inside a tanker.

ER24’s Ross Campbell said another man was also injured when the explosion occurred. According to Campbell, it is believed the injured patient attempted to rescue the man but was overcome by carbon monoxide.
“ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 10.15am along with the fire department. The 40-year-old male was found to have suffered moderate to serious injuries and was treated and transported to a private hospital in Hillcrest,” said Campbell.
