Leap into action for Kloof Conservancy frog event

Money raised will be donated to the Endangered Amphibian Programme.

THE Kloof Conservancy, the Endangered Wildlife Trust and Gillitts Conservancy will be holding a Leap Day for Frogs event at Iphithi Nature Reserve on Saturday, February 26 starting at 17:00.

There will be interactive activity tables where children can learn all about frogs as well as information on moths and snakes. Names of children completing the activities will be included in a lucky draw for some great prizes.

There will also be an art competition under the guidance of well known artist, Robyn Ansell and street artist, Giffy.

Dr Jeanne Tarrant from the Endangered Amphibian Programme will give a talk on Froglore and as soon as it gets dark (around 19:00) she will guide visitors to look for frogs in the reserve.

Entrance is R30 for all above 12 years, R20 for under 12s and free for children under five years. Money raised will be donated to the Endangered Amphibian Programme.
