Free rabies vaccination campaign underway
Rabies vaccination dates for Westville, Kloof, Wyebank, New Germany, Malvern, and Queensburgh have been announced.

THE Department of Agriculture and Rural Development will be in Westville and Queensburgh early next month to administer rabies vaccinations.
The campaign will take place, from May 9 to 13 in the Westville, Kloof, Wyebank, New Germany, Malvern and Queensburgh.

In this rabies vaccination program, pet owners are encouraged to vaccinate their cats and dogs against the viral infection which can be fatal. To accommodate the public during this abbreviated campaign, all venues’ times have been extended.

Monday, May 9 – Westville:
8:30 – 10:00; Westville North Library – Cnr Iver & Blair Atholl Road, lower parking lot.
10:30 – 12:00; Westville Civic Centre off Buckingham Rd, parking lot near the recycle bins.
12:30 – 14:00; Dawncliffe- open space next to Westville Athletics Club – Corner of Syringa Avenue and Maryvale Road.
Tuesday, May 10 – Kloof, Wyebank and New Germany
8:30 – 9:30; Municipal parking lot in Sailor Road – off Marievale Dr, Kloof/ Wyebank.
10:00 – 11:00; open space (Post Box clusters) Daisy Lane off Orchid Avenue – Wyebank.
11:30 – 13:30; New Germany Community Centre, open space in Harvey Road, off East Street.
Queensburgh and Malvern
Wednesday, May 11:
9:00 – 11:00; Sarnia – open space in Clover Crescent.
