Security guard shot outside a school in Hammarsdale
The man was airlifted to hospital after being shot in both lower limbs.
A SECURITY guard (32) sustained moderate injuries when he was shot by an unknown group of men this morning, Tuesday, May 10.
Netcare 911 spokesperson, Shawn Herbst said paramedics responded to a shooting on Sibisi Road in Hammarsdale.

“The security guard was allegedly shot twice in both lower limbs by an unknown group of men walking past the school he was guarding.
“The patient was treated on scene by emergency care practitioners. He was stabilised and flown by Netcare 911 air ambulance to hospital,” said Herbst.
According to the guard, the men who shot him fled back into the bush.
