Police officer dies in alleged shooting
Emergency services responded to two separate active crime scenes.
A POLICE officer was shot dead and two other people were injured in two separate incidents this afternoon at the Pavilion.
ALS Paramedics reported that they responded to a shooting incident to find two separate active crime scenes.

“The first was at the robots before the mall where a police member was shot. He was in a critical condition and rushed to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, due to his injuries, he passed away a short while later.
“The second scene was inside the mall at two popular jewellery stores. ALS Paramedics treated and transported two females, one pregnant, who were assaulted during the alleged robbery,” said ALS Paramedics spokesperson Garrith Jamieson.
At this stage, the events leading up to the shooting are unknown, however, SAPS will be investigating further.
