Woman dies shortly after shooting incident in Pinetown
Local security companies attended to a shooting incident involving a young female in Pinetown.
A YOUNG female has died shortly after being taken to the hospital following a shooting incident on Pastoll Road in Pinetown, just after 08:00 on Thursday morning (January 25).
ALS Paramedics reported that they got to the scene to find other security companies there, and they were directed to the vehicle where the female was.

“A female believed to be in her twenties was found in a critical condition with multiple gunshot wounds to her body. Advanced Life Support Paramedics worked to stabilise the woman on the scene before she was rushed through to a nearby Durban Hospital for the urgent treatment that she required,” said ALS spokesperson Garrith Jamieson.
A few hours after the incident, Jamieson reported that a short while after arriving at a specialist hospital due to the serious multiple injuries, the young woman passed away.
Jamieson further stated that the events leading up to the incident are unknown at this stage, however, SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
