WATCH: Put in as much work as you can, advises Pinetown Girls’ top learner
The girls' school attained a 99% pass rate.
BEING one of the school’s top achievers did not come as a surprise to Pinetown Girls’ High School (PGHS) learner, Andiswa Buthelezi.
Buthelezi said she has been working towards getting good results. She passed with three As for maths, English and IsiZulu.
Pinetown Girls’ High School achieved a 99% pass rate.

The 2022 PGHS Dux advised the Matric Class of 2023 to work hard, have faith and a belief system, and most importantly, believe in their capabilities.
The excited Buthelezi said she wants to study actuarial science.

Although she is glad that she has finished matric, she admitted that she will miss the school atmosphere, her friends and the teachers.
Acting principal Simphiwe Shange said he was very pleased with the hard work that the learners and teachers have put in the last year.
“Our teachers worked tirelessly to ensure the good results that the school attained. We wish all our girls the best for their future endeavours,” he said.
