Malvern horrific accident leaves two people critical, one seriously injured

The three patients were stabilised on scene before being rushed to hospital.

TWO people were critically injured with one person sustaining serious injuries in a horrific accident on Main Road in Malvern last night, Wednesday, February 1.

According to ALS Paramedics Medical Services spokesperson Garrith Jamieson, paramedics arrived on the scene to find total carnage after a driver of a single motor vehicle had lost control and the car crashed into a light pole.

“The car overturned multiple times before coming to rest on its roof. Two men believed to be in their late teens were found with critical injuries and were stabilised on the scene by Advanced Life Support Paramedics before being rushed through to a nearby hospital.

“Another patient, a man believed to be in his early twenties, had sustained serious injuries and was also stabilised on the scene by Advanced Life Support Paramedics before being transported to hospital,” said Jamieson.

He added that the cause of the accident is unknown at present.
