Police officers shares the joy of Easter

Easter goodness was spread at Pinetown SAPS and Kloof Police Station.

TO share the Easter spirit, Pinetown and Kloof police officers, as well as the community members, were blessed with Easter eggs.

The eggs were sponsored by Colonel Shireen Ramchunder, Captain Patsy Subramanien and Captain Karen Middleborough.

Jennifer Naidu from Pinetown SAPS said the charge office was abuzz with members, and the public was grateful for this kind gesture.

Naidu conveyed a special thank you to Colonel Ramchunder who came up with this initiative.

“Everyone received Easter eggs, together with a Bible scripture depicting the significance of Easter – that Jesus was crucified on the cross for our sins and rose again for our victory.

“A warm token of appreciation to Crystal Duplooy for going the extra mile of going to the charge office on the holidays to activate the initiative by distributing these Easter eggs.

“It was not an easy task, but the smiles and appreciation of the members made it rewarding and certainly worth the effort,” said Naidu.

She also thanked Delmarie Fourie for her contribution by drawing and printing the posters together with the sayings and scriptures. “We appreciate and value you.”
