Two injured in M13 multiple-vehicle crash

Two people sustained moderate injuries and were transported to hospital after being stabilised at the scene.

TRAFFIC was severely affected this morning on the M13 Durban-bound, coming down Field’s Hill, following a serious multiple-vehicle crash.

ALS Paramedics spokesperson Garrith Jamieson said paramedics arrived on the scene to find chaos as the badly damaged vehicles occupied most of the freeway.

“Paramedics quickly assessed the scene and found that two people had sustained moderate injuries. The two were stabilised on scene by Advanced Life Support Paramedics before being transported to a nearby hospital.”

He added that SAPS and Metro Police were on scene and will be investigating the cause of the collision.
