Show support for Kloof SPCA’s Adoption Day

The Kloof and Highway SPCA is calling all pet lovers who are interesting in adopting to visit their kennels this Sunday.

THE Kloof and Highway SPCA will hold an Adoption Day on Sunday, March 10, from 09:00 to 12:00. People who are interested in adopting should visit their kennels and meet their dogs and cats – and even two goats are invited to come on the day.

The Kloof SPCA encouraged the public to visit even if it is just to spend some time with the furry friends. People can share the love by bringing a tin of dog food.

If you will be visiting SPCA to find a new family member, you need to bring an identity document, proof of address, up-to-date vaccination records of current pets, and if you live in a complex/estate or rent, a letter of permission for a pet.

“All documentation can be sent via email once you have chosen a dog, however, we urge you to bring them with you on the day to speed up the process,” they said.

If you would like any other information, contact the adoption department at adoption@kloofspca.co.za.

Sanelisiwe Tsinde

My name is Sanelisiwe Tsinde, and I'm a mother of two boys and very family-oriented. Being a community journalist for years, I can proudly say I love writing about positive community news articles and giving a voice to the voiceless. Seeing people getting assistance warms my heart. Every day is a different challenge and a new learning opportunity. I supply news for our trusted publication weekly, and a few years ago, Caxton ventured into online publication, so I contribute daily to the websites. I could say I am a multimedia journalist, and working in a community newspaper is beneficial as we do not focus on one thing but we do a bit of everything.
