Paw it for Kloof SPCA fundraiser

Don't miss the fun experience – book your tickets now for this year's Ales for Tails event.

THE seventh annual Ales for Tails charity event, in support of the Kloof & Highway SPCA, promises to be an unforgettable experience, blending the best in craft beer, spirits and live music.

The charity event, presented by the Durban Home Brewers, will be held at the SPCA on Saturday from 11:00 to 17:00.

Kloof & Highway SPCA’s Brigitte Ferguson urged people to support the event.

“It will be a perfect day out for family and four-legged friends. Tickets sold out fast in 2023, so don’t miss your chance to join us in raising a glass – and some much-needed funds – for our furry friends.”

In addition, Ferguson said that this year, they have a wonderful children’s area set up with jumping castles, face painting, balloon-making and painting on canvas to keep the kids busy.

There will be 60 brewers. Dogs on lead are welcome. People can bring their own cooler box at a charge of R100 per cooler box.

To buy tickets, visit www.webtickets.co.za. They will not be available at the door.

Sanelisiwe Tsinde

My name is Sanelisiwe Tsinde, and I'm a mother of two boys and very family-oriented. Being a community journalist for years, I can proudly say I love writing about positive community news articles and giving a voice to the voiceless. Seeing people getting assistance warms my heart. Every day is a different challenge and a new learning opportunity. I supply news for our trusted publication weekly, and a few years ago, Caxton ventured into online publication, so I contribute daily to the websites. I could say I am a multimedia journalist, and working in a community newspaper is beneficial as we do not focus on one thing but we do a bit of everything.
