Highway Hospice charity shop thankful for donations

The Highway Hospice charity shop shelves are filling up as more donations are coming through.

THE Highway Hospice charity shop extends their gratitude to the community for pulling them through a hard time. A few weeks ago, the Hospice were pleading for donations as their stock shelves were running empty.

The shop is to help the Highway Hospice to continue its work of providing respiratory care for the people who are in the final stages of their lives.

Staff member at the charity shop Janine Gous said they have received a number of donations of resellable items, and their shelves are filling up.

“We are grateful to the donors, though we are not yet fully out of the woods, but there has been great progress. We are appealing to the public to continue contributing to our cause, and we thank them in advance for doing this,” she said.

The Highway Hospice also announced their auction sale that is to take place from November 16 to 23. We have something for everyone, and they are perfect for Christmas.
