Multiple people injured on the N3

Paramedics have advised motorists to use alternative routes after a taxi collided with a car on the N3 Pietermaritzburg-bound.

MULTIPLE people have been injured on the N3 Pietermaritzburg-bound just after the Mariannhill Toll Plaza this afternoon (November 6). Paramedics are currently on scene treating the patients, and traffic has been severely affected.

According to ALS Paramedics spokesperson Garrith Jamieson, a car and a taxi collided. “The car rolled a few times before coming to rest on its side.

“Only one lane is currently open, and motorists are advised to use alternative routes,” reported Jamieson.
