Teenager arrested for murder of 2 girls in Cliffdale

The girls aged 10 and 12 were found dead in the bedroom with bruises on their necks.

AN 18-YEAR-OLD man is expected to appear in the Hammarsdale Court on Monday, December 30 for the murder of two girls aged 10 and 12.

Police spokesperson, Captain Carmen Rhynes, said it is alleged that Hammarsdale SAPS received the complaint of murder in the Cliffdale area.

“SAPS members proceeded to the crime scene, where they found a woman, the mother of the two deceased girls.

“The mother pointed out the house where the bodies were found. The two girls were found lying on the ground in the bedroom with bruises in their necks. Both of the girls were found to be deceased at the scene.”

The Cliffdale area recently made headlines when a man killed four people, including two police officers.

The suspect was later found dead following a shootout with the police.
