IF you love the outdoors, enjoy running and adore your ‘furever’ friend, then the Kloof and Highway SPCA trail run is for you.

The event will be held at Fig Tree Farm on Sunday, February 16 in celebration of Valentine’s Day.
Sponsored by Hill’s Pet Nutrition, the 8km run will start at 08:00 and it costs R100, or join the 4km which will commence at 08:10 and pay R50.

SPCA’s Brigitte Ferguson encouraged people to bring their dogs on leads to enjoy what will be a fun-filled morning with family and friends.

“Fig Tree Farm is a perfect venue in beautiful surrounds and there will be wonderful prizes for both people and their pooches. We will also have some lovely lucky draw prizes,” she said

During the morning, there will be opportunities to speak to Hayley Wood, the Hills representative, for advice or information about pet nutrition.

“People can also enjoy a breakfast and visit all the shops at Fig Tree Farm. Everyone is welcome and we look forward to seeing you there.”
