Nurses were honoured and celebrated for being an inspiration through their tireless efforts.
THE dedication and hard work of nurses at Life Westville Hospital was celebrated and honoured on International Nurses Day on Monday, May 12.
Hospital Manager Ishan Sewpersad said this was done under the theme ‘Our Nurses, Our Future’, with the event a thanks-giving moment to the nursing staff.
Sewpersad said the focus was on the well-being of nursing staff to ensure that they take care of themselves “in order to provide quality care to patients”.
