Pinetown family offers reward for missing dogs
It has been a month filled with heartache and sorrow for a Pinetown family whose fur babies went missing. From the SPCAs to abandoned structures, the Houston family has looked almost everywhere for their beloved dogs.
A PINETOWN family is heartbroken and devastated by the disappearance of their beloved dogs, Luna and Rocket, who were last spotted on the evening of April 16.
Owner, Danielle Houston, said their two fur babies were spotted at 22:15 in Radwin Road, Cowies Hill.
“It was the initial and final sighting, ever since we have been looking,” said a devastated Houston.
The family said they searched at veterinarians and vets hospitals nearby with no luck.

“We have also looked for them in the SPCAs around Durban. We have looked at nature reserves, parks, abandoned structures, and land shrubs along the riverways.”
Despite the days of fruitless searching, Houston said they are hopeful that they will find their dogs who are a part of their family.
“No matter how long it takes, we will continue our search for Luna and Rocket.”
Houston said the two dogs are microchipped.
“We are offering a reward for their safe return. We will not ask any question, we just need them back home. We are heartbroken and devastated, we miss them terribly, and we’re praying for their safe return. It is heartbreaking not knowing where they are.”
