Pinetown police seek missing persons

The police are requesting the public's assistance in the missing persons cases of a 13-year-old girl who was last seen in December 2024 and a 37-year-old woman who was last seen in March.

THE Pinetown police have urged members of the public to assist with information which may lead to the location of two missing persons.

One of them is 13-year-old Zama Gumede who was last seen on December 24, 2024, at approximately 16:00 on Madondo Road, Kwadabeka.

Pinetown SAPS communications officer Jennifer Naidu said Zama was wearing black track pants and a black short-sleeve T-shirt and at the time had a short haircut.

“If you have any information regarding Zama’s whereabouts, please contact our FCS Unit Commander, Lieutenant Colonel G Doodhnath on 082 556 8981 or the investigating officer, Warrant Officer ES Ndlovu on 079 779 2577,” said Naidu.

The second missing person sought by the Pinetown SAPS is 37-year-old Silindile Mbonambi who was last seen in the vicinity of Chapel Street near Emart on March 12.

“She was wearing short jeans, a white T-shirt, and slippers, and has distinctive short dreadlocks and a light complexion. If anyone has any information regarding her whereabouts, please contact Detective Constable S L Cele  at 067 680 4084,” said Naidu.
