“ALS Paramedics and ER24 arrived at the scene to find the badly damaged SUV had crashed through a residential house. Paramedics assessed the driver and only occupant of the vehicle and found that the male, believed to be in his thirties, had sustained major injuries, and there was nothing paramedics could do for him, and he was declared deceased at the scene. At this stage, the events leading up to the crash are unknown; however, SAPS and Metro Police were in attendance and will be investigating further,” said Jamieson.
