Trial of Pinetown man accused of decapitating gran’s head and playing with it starts
Thabo Ntokozo Nzimande (32) is accused of stabbing Beatrice De Lange, decapitating her and playing with her head as if it were a soccer ball at their home in Pinetown last year.

THE trial of the Pinetown man accused of beheading his 80-year-old grandmother and playing with her head afterwards is set to start in the Durban High Court on Thursday, September 4.
Thabo Ntokozo Nzimande, who was 31-years-old at the time of his arrest last year shortly after the incident, is accused of stabbing Beatrice De Lange, decapitating her and playing with her head as if it were a soccer ball at their home in Pinetown last year.

It was reported that Nzimande appeared in the same court last week where his legal representative withdrew from the case.
NPA KZN spokesperson Natasha Ramkisson-Kara confirmed that the trial will commence this Thursday at the Durban High Court, where the Highway Mail will follow the proceedings.
The gruesome murder elicited horror and sorrow from different sectors of society.
