JUST IN: Woman shot dead at popular pub in Westville
The woman in her 40s was declared dead on the scene after she was found unresponsive on the floor with a gunshot wound.
WESTVILLE SAPS and paramedics are currently at a popular pub along Jan Hofmeyer Road, Westville, following a shooting incident just after 13:40 today (Monday, September 15).
ALS Paramedics spokesperson Garrith Jamieson said paramedics arrived on scene and found SAPS and multiple security officials already in attendance.

“Medics were shown into the pub and shown to where a female believed to be in her late 40s was found unresponsive on the floor with a gunshot wound. Paramedics assessed the lady, however found no signs of life and the patient was declared deceased on the scene.”
At this stage, Jamieson said the events leading up to the shooting are unknown.
“However it is believed to have been a domestic dispute. SAPS Westville was in attendance and will be investigating further.”
