WATCH: Pinehaven retirement community Spring Fair

The funds raised from the fair will be used to support the elderly residents at the Pinehaven retirement village.

THE Pinehaven retirement community held its Spring Fair on Saturday, September 13, where various stalls selling food, crafts, clothing, and books, were available to fair-goers.

The public was also entertained with music and karaoke.

One of the stallholders at the fair, Jane Slight, encouraged the public to donate and purchase from a second-hand shop called Roxys based in Pinehaven which operates on Monday and Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:30, as well as Fridays from 14:00 to 15:30.

“Most people don’t know that we are there,” said Slight.
