THERE was “severe damage” when a vehicle unexpectedly reversed into a charity shop in Westville on Monday (February 2) at about 16:00.

Rona Austwick from Hidden Treasures in Westville said they are unaware why the driver of the vehicle crashed into the shop. No injuries were reported.

“The damage is severe. We’ve got a lot of work here trying to clean up,” said Austwick on Tuesday morning.
