Two people killed in vehicle crash on Inanda Road
The eThekwini Fire Department used the Jaws of life to remove the trapped men from the wreckage after the vehicle crashed into a wall.
TWO people were killed in a horrific vehicle crash in Waterfall on Inanda Road on Saturday, April 11, just after 18:00.
The spokesperson for ALS Paramedics, Garrith Jamieson, said a single vehicle crashed on the road towards Waterfall.

“Paramedics arrived on the scene to find chaos and carnage as they found that a single vehicle had somehow lost control and left the roadway, colliding with a wall. Two males believed to be in their twenties and thirties were found severely entrapped in the wreckage and immediately the eThekweni Fire Department were dispatched to assist. Paramedics assessed both men, however the two men had sustained major injuries and there was nothing paramedics could do for them and they were declared deceased on the scene.
“The eThekweni Fire Department used the Jaws of Life to cut the men free.
“At this stage the events leading up to the crash are unknown, however SAPS were in attendance and will be investigating further,” said Jamieson.
