HILLCREST’S first Vintage Vogue & Velocity brought together classic cars, motorcycles, fashion and live music at Camp Orchards recently and event organisers said they were blown away by the incredible response.

The event was put together with a vision to bring together a love of vintage cars, classic motorcycles, fashion and music.

“To be able to say that our inaugural event was Sold Out is a privilege that very few event organisers get to experience and we certainly don’t take it for granted,” said one of the organisers, Karen Monk Klijnstra.

On the day, there were beautiful vintage and classic cars alongside magnificent motorcycles, with vintage-inspired fashion. The KZN Philharmonic Orchestra provided soothing music for the guests.

“To every exhibitor who shared their treasured vehicle, every musician who helped create the soundtrack, every fashion lover who dressed for the occasion, every family who came along, every supporter, partner, volunteer and member of our incredible team, thank you.

“And to every single person who bought a ticket, shared our vision and joined us on the day, you made our inaugural Vintage Vogue & Velocity better than we could ever have imagined. Your love, support and enthusiasm have completely overwhelmed us,” said Monk Klijnstra.
