WITH food, petrol and virtually everything else on the rise, the majority of workers are just about making ends meet.

One lives from month to month, with little relief.

Salaries these days are stagnant and increases, well, what are those?

Yet loyalty and overtime is expected – from where I am sitting it is.

Yes, one realises businesses are struggling but its a hard pill to swallow when one compares cars driven by the employees to cars driven by the management of a company.

I think its disgraceful.

I would implore companies to look after their loyal staff and reward them, either with a bonus or a profit sharing scheme – let them feel that they are working with a great team are and not just a number.
