Where is the man in the window?

"I'd like to express sincere thanks to every one of the folks who supported us at the Westville store since 2012, when I accepted the position as practice manager".

I AM writing to you in the midst of a “storm before the calm”, as business people around the country (and the world), scurry to complete lists of “must-do” tasks, before being locked out of their shops and offices.

There is much discussion around the value of friend and family relationships that are so often taken for granted when it is all; “business as usual”.

I am Tony, the “man-in-the-window”, who has been a familiar figure to hundreds of daily shoppers in the Westville Village Mall during the past eight years. Usually seen with my head down and attention focused on some part of a hearing aid, lit by a bright desk-lamp at my shop-window workspace.

I expect that my absence has been noticed and the reason for my letter is to inform everyone who has wondered, what happened to me. It has been decided that neither Sonel nor I will be employed there in future, but we are both alive, well and not guilty of any scandalous behaviour.

I’d like to express sincere thanks to every one of the folks who supported us at the Westville store since 2012, when I accepted the position as practice manager.

I live in Westville and I’m planning to continue assisting the wearers of hearing aids. It will take a little while to get organised, visit my Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/wheatley.ar
