Winston Park wins Mongoose series trophy.
Winston Park Primary took home the Mongoose series trophy.
WINSTON Park Primary School was the winner of the Mongoose Primary Schools Trophy for 2013.
The school participated in all 9 of the races which make up the Spur KZN Schools MTB Series Presented by Mongoose and had the most consistent number of riders and winners in the age categories.
Travis Stedman won the Sprog (11-12 years old) category and Sprog riders, James Haw, Thomas MaCleod-Henderson and Adam Parker also finished regularly in the top ten.
The school also had the most participants at the Fulton Race.
“There were so many eager participants, it is wonderful to see so many get involved. To this end we need to thank the very willing and supportive parents for bringing their children to all the races and allowing them to enjoy such a great outdoor activity. We look forward to next year’s series and hope we can take the trophy home again,” said Shelley Pietersen,
