Long weekend win for Hill

Local MTB rider, Andrew Hill, and his riding partner, Shaun-Nick Bester, claimed a win in the Liberty 150 race at the weekend.

IN the Liberty 150 mountain bike event, which formed part of the Liberty 250 race, Andrew Hill and his partner Shaun-Nick Bester cruised to their third win in three stages to extend their lead and wrap up an easy overall title.

The Bluff Meat Supply team won the final day of the Liberty 250 road cycling team stage race but it was just not enough as Thule Cornubia clinched the overall title by just one second after the third day of exciting racing.
