Dozens of runners laced up at the weekend to compete in the first SPAR Women’s Virtual Challenge.
THIS year, for the SPAR Women’s Virtual Challenge, communities took the opportunity to stage their own races and invited locals to gather safely and run set routes in their areas.
The Hillcrest Villagers Athletic Club marked out two routes, with the start and finish at the club. Athletes could either run a 5km or tackle the 10km route around Hillcrest. Their race started promptly at 07:00.
