Make your mark and save a life
Donate a unit of blood at the SANBS Hillcrest branch at the Colony next Saturday.
HIGHWAY residents are urged to take part in the Rotary Club of Hillcrest’s blood drive on Saturday 5 July from 9am to 3pm.
Each person that makes a donation on the day will receive a free boerewors roll.
In order to donate, each donor must be above the age of 16 years old and below the age of 65, must weigh more than 50kgs and live a safe lifestyle.
The blood drive will take place at the SANBS at The Colony Centre in Hillcrest. Make your mark – donate
“We would really like for residents to come through and donate as blood stocks are really low at this time of the year as it is the school holiday,” said sister Ingrid Marlton of the SANBS.
She also said that the Hillcrest branch is aiming at collecting 100 units of blood per week for the month of July. Contact Ingrid on 031 765 4035.
